Get to Know NITA's Director of Marketing, Amy Danziger Shapiro

amyprofile (002).jpg (41 KB)Beginning in 2019, NITA welcomed to our staff, Director of Marketing, Amy Danziger Shapiro. We are very fortunate to have her on our team as she is a recognized expert on marketing and communications through print, digital and social media marketing. Amy has lectured on marketing legal services to busy professionals through traditional and non-traditional mediums for many years. In addition to her work with NITA, Amy is currently the Director of Operations for Women Owned Law. Prior to her position at NITA, Amy held a number of positions in marketing and operations for companies and associations within the continuing legal education realm.  This includes the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at CE21, the Assistant Executive Director of the Licensing Executive Society (LES) and the Director of Strategic Marketing at American Law Institute  ‐  American Bar Association (ALI‐ABA).

Furthermore, Amy has an extensive background in the legal industry, which we know will make a great asset to NITA. She has been  a member of the Association of Continuing Legal Education (ACLEA) since 1997 and currently holds the position of membership committee chair.  In addition, she has held the following positions within ACLEA: Director‐At‐Large, Program Chair, Membership Committee Chair, Marketing SIG Chair and National SIG Chair. She has been a guest lecturer for ACLEA, Peach New Media and other professional organizations. She has lectured on a range of marketing topics including Customer Retention and Loyalty Strategies, Recent Trends in Technology in Continuing Education, Social Media Marketing and Communications and Email Marketing. Furthermore, Ms. Shapiro has acted as a consultant on social media marketing for the Institute for the Study of Business Markets at the Smeal College of Business Administration at Penn State University.
