Advocacy Teacher Training


Goal:     The NITA “learning-by-doing” teaching method stresses extensive participant performance.  The NITA method also emphasizes the importance of faculty critique and demonstration.  The different components of the NITA training methodology are explained, demonstrated, and reinforced in workshops.

 

Length: 2 ½ days

 

 

Skill Development

  • Attorneys interested in learning the NITA methodology whether for teacher, or as a training tool within their firms, learn by commenting on the presentation of law students.
  • Program participants critique and advise the students on how to improve performance
  • These critiques are reviewed by NITA instructors who provide teacher trainees for improving the substance and style of critique
