Other programs held around the United States and the world are often housed in law schools, hotels, and business centers.
Foundation: Since 2003, the NITA Foundation raises donations in order to coordinate public service programs that build on five areas in which NITA has been active over the last decade: legal services, death penalty defense, tribal justice, domestic violence, and child advocacy. In 2007, more than $400,000 in funds was raised to allow lawyers and advocates working for public service organizations and government agencies to attend programs at little or no charge.
NITA Advocates Society: All NITA program alum and other interested individuals are invited to be a member of the NITA Advocates Society. Advocates support The NITA Foundation with membership fees and other donations as well as stay abreast of NITA news, events, and new products and programs.
