Williams, Gary C.

Gary Williams is a professor of law at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. He teaches courses in Evidence, Professional Responsibility (Ethics) and First Amendment law. He recently created a two-semester course, Civil Rights Litigation, designed to encourage students to pursue careers in public interest law. Gary has written articles discussing privacy and the First Amendment, the right to petition the government, and insurance discrimination based upon race and class.

Before going into teaching, Gary worked for the ACLU Foundation of Southern California for eight years. He was hired as Staff Counsel, then was promoted to Assistant Legal Director. Gary began his legal career as staff counsel for the California Agricultural Labor Relations Board, headquartered in Sacramento, California.
